Spicy Pretzels

Spicy Pretzels have a full savory flavor with a subtle hint of heat that will delight your guests. This recipe is perfect for entertaining large groups of people because it can be made ahead and are stress-free. This is one of my absolute favorite appetizers! I’ve made these for over a decade and they’re a staple for when I host.

Spicy Pretzels

Servings: 15 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz) bag mini pretzels *substitute with Snyder's Gluten-Free Mini Pretzels
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 Tbs ranch powder (1 package)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 225℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a measuring cup, whisk together oil, ranch powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Make sure there are no lumps.
  • Pour pretzels in a bowl and pour oil mixture over the pretzels. Mix until all the pretzels have been coated.
  • Pour the pretzels onto a baking sheet and bake for an hour.
  • Allow to cool and serve.

Notes

I’ve tried other brands, but Snyder’s Gluten-Free Mini Pretzels are my favorite. I use two 8 oz bags and keep the rest of the recipe the same. 
Be sure to check all labels for gluten-free.
