I love when my family has the opportunity to make memories with me in kitchen. I’m always looking for a treat that’s not only easy to make, but also kid-friendly. This Monster Bark is a delicious blend of salty peanuts and sweet chocolate. It’s a treat your guests will love!

Monster Bark

Servings: 12 Servings

Ingredients

  • 12 oz orange candy melts
  • 12 oz white candy melts
  • 12 oz dark chocolate melts
  • 1 1/2 cup lightly salted peanuts
  • Sprinkles of your choice
  • Candy eyes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cut open the bags of candy melts. Pour 1/2 cup of peanuts in each bag. Shake to mix.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Alternating colors, pour candy and peanut mixture onto the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the oven for 18 minutes.
  • While the chocolate is heating, prepare the eyes and sprinkles to add to the melted chocolate.
  • After the baking sheet comes out of the oven, use a spatula to spread the chocolate into a thin layer.
  • Use the blunt end of a bamboo skewer to swirl the chocolate together to mix.
  • Place the eyes on the chocolate. Add sprinkles.
  • Allow to cool on the counter for several hours.
  • Break apart the bark into pieces and serve.
  • Store in an airtight container.
