Pan Seared Pork Chops

These succulent golden pork chops are a savory dinner treat. They are quick and easy to cook making them perfect for a weeknight meal.

Pan Seared Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops about 1 inch thick
  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  • Cut 2 slits on the fat rind on each pork chop allowing it to remain flat as it cooks.
  • Salt and pepper both sides to taste.
  • Put the olive oil in the skillet and heat until hot.
  • Place pork chops in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip the pork chop and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.
  • Serve
