I enjoy baking during the fall season. Nothing’s better than the scent of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg all mixed together in a delicious baked treat. Molasses cookies are requested by my family each year. They are spicy warming delicious cookies that your whole family will love.
A little planning is required since the dough has to be chilled for thirty minutes to an hour prior to baking. The cookies don’t spread while baking, so you may want to flatten them slightly after placing them on the baking sheet. The bottom of a glass or measuring cup can be used for this process. See my favorite measuring cup and spoon set here. While they are baking, your house is with the wonderful aroma of fall.
