Lucky Centerpiece

We attended a local fundraising event that consisted of food, fun, laughter, and trivia. The week of we found out that we needed to decorate our table in a St. Patrick’s day theme. So the ladies got together and divided the tasks to conquer the party. Thankfully it was the week of St. Patrick’s day and there was still some decor available. Also, it doesn’t hurt to have access to Amazon Prime.

I was responsible for the centerpieces. After a couple of stops at local craft stores, I acquired the materials to assemble the centerpieces. I’ll be honest, I went shopping with one design in mind and walked out with materials and no idea what I was going to make. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like once I decide on the container to hold the centerpiece or any other type of bouquet the rest always comes together. This shopping trip left me deciding on the container last!

My containers had to be spray painted, so that’s the first thing I did. While they were drying, I set out and grouped all of the materials. I knew that I would need to make two centerpieces total for the table and wanted to make sure to divide the resources between the two. After my containers dried, I inserted dry floral foam to fill the containers and then set out to work. You can check out my video for the process.

The centerpieces were a perfect addition to our table. We mixed in different items that were purchased on Amazon and decorated our table according to the theme. Our decorations were complete with the addition of green and white M&Ms and Chex mix for snacks as we played several rounds of trivia. The evening was such much fun and the table decorations made everything so festive!
