This perfect make ahead side dish is just what your next summertime meal needs. It’s sweet, tangy and full of flavor.
5 Bean Salad
Servings: 8 Servings
Ingredients
- 1 can cut green beans
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 can wax beans
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can navy beans
- 2 medium stalks celery finely diced
- 1 small red onion finely diced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbs sugar
- 1 Tbs grainy brown mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the beans and add to a medium size bowl.
- In a separate bowl whisk together olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
- Pour the dressing over the beans and stir to combine.
- Place in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator overnight.
- Allow the bean salad to sit on the counter for about 30 minutes. Stir to combine and serve.
