Beef Street Tacos

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro chopped, for garnish
- Street taco-size corn tortillas
- Salsa optional
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Once fully cooked, drain any excess grease.
Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a separate skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for about 5 minutes, until they begin to soften.
Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet until soft and pliable.
Fill each tortilla with the seasoned beef and sautéed onion. Top with salsa and fresh cilantro. Serve immediately.
