Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out the gluten-free puff pastry onto the parchment paper.
Arrange the pears in a single layer over the top of the pastry. Leave an inch border.
Beat together the egg and water. Brush the mixture over the top of the pastry and pears. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
While the pastry is baking, mix together the melted butter, honey, and nutmeg until combined.
After the 15 minutes are up, pull the tart out of the oven and brush the top with the honey mixture. Be sure to reserve 2 tablespoons.
Return to oven and bake an additional 15 minutes more. Remove and brush the top with the reserved honey mixture.
Cool on the pan for 5-10 minutes.
Sift powdered sugar over the top.
Cut into 9 slices and serve.
