Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 5“ x 9” loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, use a fork to mash the bananas. Stir in the sugar, applesauce, vanilla, eggs, and oil.
Add the dry ingredients and fold together until combined.
Stir in the crushed pecans.
Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
Bake for approximately 80 minutes until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack in the pan for 10 minutes.
Remove from the pan and continue to cool on the wire rack.
Serve.
