Garlic Parmesan Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 2-2 1/2 pounds drumsticks about 8
  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Remove the drumsticks from package and dry.
  • Place drumsticks in a gallon size resealable bag.
  • Add the olive oil. Seal bag and toss to coat.
  • In a small bowl mix together all the seasonings.
  • Pour in the bag, seal and toss to coat.
  • Place drumsticks on the baking sheet.
  • Cook for 40-45 minutes or until internal temperature is 165 degrees or higher.
  • Before the chicken has finished cooking, prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese. Stir together until well combined.
  • When the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees or higher, remove from the oven. Place chicken in a bowl. Pour the sauce over the drumsticks and toss to coat.
  • Remove and plate the drumsticks. Garnish with parsley.
  • Serve.
