Bourbon Apple Betty

- 2 medium pears peeled and diced
- 2 medium Granny Smith apples cored, peeled, and diced
- 2 large honeycrisp apples cored, peeled and diced
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tbs Bourbon
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 4 Tbs fresh lemon juice
Grease slow cooker.
Peel apples and pears. Diced them and add to the slow cooker.
Stir in sugars, bourbon, cinnamon, ginger, salt, and lemon juice.
Cook on high for 4 hours.
Spoon over ice cream and serve.
Any combination of apples and pears can be used. (Approximately 6 cups of fruit.)
